How to install tip 1 - Buy a new car stereo keeping in mind what you need and what will fit into the slot provided in your car. When you get a new system you may also get a wiring harness, which is specific to both your car with regard to the kind of model and the new audio product.

How to install tip 2 - Plug in the wiring harness to the back of your new car stereo to install your new gizmo or connect the positive and the negative wire from each speaker to the positive and negative connector respectively on the back of your sound application first.

Make sure it is connected properly and if you fail to do so, the speakers will not function at all.

How to install tip 3 - Connect the ground wire usually the black wire of the stereo to a screw or a bolt located near to the dashboard where the application is mounted. But make sure the wire attachment is done to a metal and not on plastic or fiberglass.

How to install tip 4 - Connect the 12 constant and ignition power wires to the system. You can refer to the installation instructions to make sure all the wires goes to the correct places.

How to install a tip 5 - Slide your application into the mounting bracket that came with your stereo after you have plug the harness or the wires and then slide it into the slot in the dash. Do not screw it yet as you will need to test it first. You will find one wire connector option on the back of your stereo that is the option for the antenna.

How to install tip 6 - After you have performed all the above-mentioned tips, connect the negative cable of your car to the battery. Then turn on and the power of your system, put some music and listen to all your speakers and make sure everything works. Then you can screw your car stereo into the dash.
