2011 Ford Focus RS5000
Ford plans to send the Ford Focus RS out in a blaze of glory by producing 500 super-tuned versions sure to stoke the fire of enthusiasts throughout Europe. The new Focus RS500 features a muscular 350hp, 2.5-liter turbocharged Duratec RS five-cylinder engine, which generates 15 percent more power than the standard Focus RS - 305 hp versus 350. The changes include a significantly larger air-to-air intercooler to deliver a cooler, denser charge; a larger air filter box for increased airflow; larger-diameter exhaust downpipe; and an upgraded fuel pump, along with a performance-tuned software calibration.
